Gina Mastrogiacomo fue una actriz descubierta en el casting de la película Uno de los nuestros (Good Fellas), dirigida por el famoso director Martin Scorsese. Gina murió de una embolia cerebral el 2 de mayo de 2001, en California, apenas a los 39 años.
