Johnny Depp – Hair Dye, Hair Removal & Face Prosthetics
Forget the transformation into Jack Sparrow, which is nothing compared to Johnny Depp’s portrayal of the Boston mafia Boss in Black Mass. A makeup foundation is one thing, but Depp wanted to look exactly like the mafia boss, so he easily approved of having a hair dye. Moreover, to get a balding head, Depp’s makeup artists plucked his hair and eyebrows one at a time. The transformation took 22 hours and involved many other features like a prosthetic, beside the “hair thing.” The result was simply incredible and helped Depp to get into character so convincingly.
