Most Expensive Weddings Ever
Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton – $34M
Prince William is the eldest of Prince Charles’ sons and he is second in line to the British throne. He and Kate Middleton were an item for a long time before he took the plunge. The couple married in 2011 at Westminster Abbey. William’s new titles were revealed a few hours prior to the commencement to the nuptials. These include Duke of Cambridge and Earl of Strathearn. The wedding cake on its own was a hefty $80K and the flowers for the event cost a staggering $800K. If you think those figures are alarming, would you believe the biggest cost was actually the security? With such high-profile guests, we expect no less.
They got married back in 1993 but they still made it on the list! Check out the next couple.
