Robert Louis Backlund AKA Bob Backlund – Age 70
Robert famous known by his ring name Bob Backlund is one of the wrestlers whose wrestling career spanned over 30 years. After taking wrestling training from acclaimed trainer Eddie Sharkey, Bob made a debut in AWA in 1973. After leaving AWA and working with various wrestling promotions, Backlund joined WWF in 1997. With his persona, he quickly got over his fans and soon became the new WWF Heavyweight Champion. After taking a break from WWF from 1984 to 1992, he returned to WWF in 1992 when WWF had already become an international wrestling promotion. He then signed up with TNA in 2007 due to the many references made by Kevin Nash. In the year 2000, he also tried to run for a Connecticut seat in Congress but failed miserably.
