Wayne Rooney and Coleen Rooney – Around $6.5M
In 2008, Wayne Rooney of Manchester United football club married Coleen Rooney, his high school sweetheart. They had a private and intimate ceremony with only eight others to witness the exchange of their vows. Amazingly, a magazine offered them $2.5 million just for the photos of their wedding! The actual event was broken into two parts—the first of which was held in a 330-year-old villa under a Louis XVI chandelier, while the second continued at a 17th-century villa in the Riviera resort of Santa Margherita Ligure. Family members traveled by private yacht to the ceremony.
