Peinliches Missverständnis bei Channel 3
Bei einer Nachrichtensendung auf Channel 3 über das Verschwinden von Molly Bish ereignete sich ein unerwartetes und zugleich komisches Missgeschick. In diesem Beitrag, der etwa acht Jahre nach ihrem Verschwinden ausgestrahlt wurde, zeigte der Sender versehentlich ein Bild eines Hamsters, anstatt das erwartete Fahndungsfoto des Hauptverdächtigen Rodney Stanger.
Die Verwechslung sorgte für Überraschung und Amüsement beim Publikum, obwohl das Thema der Sendung alles andere als humorvoll war. Die Nachrichtensprecherin reagierte professionell und stellte sofort klar, dass es sich um einen Fehler handelte.
