O White Chicks (As Branquelas) se tornou uma comédia de ação clássica graças às performances de Marlon e Shawn Wayans, que não apenas tiveram que se transformar em garotas – mas em garotas brancas e loiras (!) (particularmente isso já deixa o filme hilário por si só). A transformação física dos atores incluía não apenas muita maquiagem e perucas, mas também moldes de gesso para seus rostos que precisavam ser acrescentados para deixar seus rostos “femininos”. O processo de transformação exaustivo durou sete horas por dia para cada ator.
