Steve Martin and Anne Stringfield – $110.5M
A work appointment that kept Anne Stringfield in touch with Steve Martin for a year on the phone blossomed into a relationship. Stringfield served as a fact-checker for the New Yorker and that’s how she found herself calling Martin several times in the early 2000s.
The two eventually transferred their correspondence to the real world and the 26-year difference couldn’t stop their chemistry. They dated for three years before their nuptials in 2007. In fact, the two also became parents quite later in life, welcoming their first child when Martin was 67 and she was 40.
