He was once married to Christie Brinkley but their marriage ended in divorce after nine years. They share a daughter named Alexa Ray Joel who has established herself as a singer. She hasn’t been able to release an album yet but she has released an EP titled Sketches. She is often hired to perform in different events in New York.
