George Shultz will be remembered for one thing – being George Shultz. The American economist, businessman, and statesman made quite the legacy before his demise. He served under three separate Republican presidents and was one of the two people who have held four distinct cabinet-level posts.
And like all successful legends, Shultz also encountered a hitch and gained infamy as a board member of the failed blood-testing company ‘Theranos.’ If anything, however, Shultz’s $10 million net worth at the time of his demise was that of a man who had lived life not only to 100 but a hundred folds as well.
