Ed Sheeran has come a long way from rural east England. The singer-songwriter recorded and toured in obscurity for years before getting a big break writing tunes for pal Taylor Swift. Sheeran was nominated for a Grammy for Song of the Year in 2017, capping off a very successful year of heavy rotation on the radio. Financial advisors and writers for Forbes magazine have estimated the talented Brit’s wealth at an impressive $68 million. Ed isn’t strictly focused on personal gain, though; he reportedly co-wrote 2014 hit Thinking Out Loud with a musician friend to help her pay off her mortgage with its royalties.
