Celebrities You Thought Are Long Gone But They Are Not Planning Their Retirement Just Yet

Unlike many other Hollywood actors and actresses, Jacqueline White’s career lasted just 10 short years. Although she didn’t have a very long career as an actress, she certainly made quite the name for herself in the roles she did have. Jacqueline rose to fame after appearing in a play at UCLA (her University of choice), where she was spotted by a talent manager. In 1942 she was cast in her very first movie. She then went on to land roles in the popular films Crossfire and The Narrow Margin. Her performances gain her fans all over the world. So when she announced her retirement in 1952, it left fans and fellow stars alike shocked and confused. The reason for her early retirement is that she wanted to spend more time focusing on her family, which includes five children, and in more recent years, lots of little grandchildren.
