『夕やけニャンニャン』のオーディションコーナーで合格し、おニャン子クラブのメンバーに。清楚な見た目で人気が高く、ドラマ『スケバン刑事』出演でグループ初のソロ活動、また最初のソロCDデビューも果たしました。1990年に休養を宣言し、作曲家の後藤次利氏と結婚、そのまま引退しました。
