おニャン子クラブの会員番号16番。長い黒髪、色白、趣味が茶道と、多くの男子が理想とする女性像でした。1985年にはゆうゆと共に、「うしろゆびさされ組」を結成。1988年、プロデューサーでもある秋元康氏と電撃結婚し、驚かせました。結婚後は引退し、表立った活動はありませんが、本名の「秋元麻巳子」名義で絵本やエッセイを出版しています。
