Doch wie bei jedem Equipment gibt es auch hier ein paar Haken. Regelmäßige Nutzung führt zu Verschleiß, und unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann gefährlich werden.
Das größte Risiko? Wenn ein Band reißt oder zurückschnellt, wie in diesem Fall. Die Folgen können schmerzhaft und manchmal sogar ernst sein. Ein falscher Winkel, ein unbedachter Handgriff und schon ist es passiert. Deshalb unser Tipp: Immer erst checken, ob das Band wirklich intakt ist, und bei der Anwendung aufmerksam bleiben. Stretching mag simpel wirken, hat aber seine Tücken.
