Boys Don’t Cry saw Hilary Swank transforming into a transgender man, and she nailed the role. Swank first cut off her beautiful long hair at the barbershop’s, but it turned out not to be so easy since many barbershops turned down to it to her hair. Afterward, the actress behaved like a boy to see if she could pass for one before the beginning of the shooting. The actress was at least not plagued with layers and layers of makeup since she was playing a male.
