Laith Ashley – Born in 1989
Laith Ashley is a trailblazing transgender model, actor, and singer-songwriter. He began his medical transition in January 2014 at the age of 24, undergoing hormone therapy and surgery, which enhanced his masculine features and deepened his voice. In 2015, a self-organized photo shoot of him went viral on Instagram.
By 2017, Laith became the first transgender man featured in a “Diesel” campaign and appeared in “Barneys New York” advertisements. In 2022, he starred as Taylor Swift’s love interest in the “Lavender Haze” music video, further highlighting his relevance in entertainment. Laith’s rise to international acclaim inspires many within and beyond the LGBTQ+ community.
