Jazz Jennings – Born in 2000
Jazz Jennings, born in South Florida, is a well-known transgender activist and television personality. Identifying as female from a young age, she gained national attention in 2007 through an interview with Barbara Walters on “20/20.” In 2015, her journey was chronicled in the TLC reality series “I Am Jazz.”
In June 2018, she underwent gender confirmation surgery, sharing her experiences publicly. However, she had to undergo additional procedures. By 2023, Jazz had lost nearly 100 pounds over two years, attributing the weight gain to binge-eating disorder and health challenges. Her openness about her transition and health struggles makes her as relatable as ever.
