Rare Photos From The History Books You Have to See to Believe
Not the Best Landing
Here we have a photo of a Boeing 747 operated by Saudi Airlines, after it has rolled into a drainage ditch. This relatively small ‘crash’ in 2011 left nobody harmed, but the damage done to the plane was significant as we can see by that cracked and crumpled nose!
The incident occurred in Kuala Lumpur, just before the plane was due to pick up 319 passengers. They may have been annoyed at missing their flight… but were probably hugely relieved they never got on board, after learning the plane had a severe technical malfunction while taxiing.
