C. Thomas Howell ha recitato nel film di successo di Steven Spielberg E.T. L’ Extra-Terrestre. Questo è il suo primo lavoro come attore. È diventato un idolo da adolescente dopo aver interpretato Curtis in The Outsiders . Ha avuto molti ruoli cinematografici nella sua carriera, inclusi film come Red Dawn e Grandview, USA, mentre dopo gli anni ’90, la sua carriera lo ha portato a serie TV e spettacoli.
