Rob Lowe, membro del Brat Pack, ha dimostrato di aver recitato come attore dopo aver ottenuto una nomination ai Golden Globe per la Child’s Thursday del 1983. Ha continuato a recitare in The Outsiders e St. Elmo’s Fire. Ha guadagnato un secondo Golden Globe con Square Dance .
