Minnie Ripperton & Maya Rudolph At Age 29 – Actress

The incredibly talented Minnie Ripperton, who was a singer and a songwriter may be best known for her smash hit  Lovin’ You back in the ‘70s but she also left something else worthy of remembering. Minnie gave birth to Maya, a daughter whom she knew for only seven years, but who keeps reminding us who her mother was. It seemed that Maya would follow her mother’s footsteps and become a singer as well. She was a backing singer before her career on TV and she was even part of a band. Maybe Maya cannot sing as well as her late mother, but she can surely make us laugh and that’s the main source of her earnings in the past decades. She was part of the cats of the Saturday Night Live from 2001 to 2007 and a few years ago you could catch her in the sitcom Up All Night.
