J.T. Walsh fue muy conocido por sus papeles en películas como A Few Good Men, Good Morning, Vietnam, Nixon y Breakdown. Tuvo una pequeña aparición en un episodio de The X Files y otra en Dark Sides, considerada la segunda mejor serie de ovnis de los 90. Siempre era elegido para interpretar al villano o aquel personaje que nos encanta odiar; incluso fue apodado por la revista Playboy como “la escoria favorita del público”. Por desgracia, murió en 1998 de un ataque al corazón. Tenía apenas 54 años. Jack Nicholson dedicó un premio en su honor, ya que ambos compartieron juntos en dos películas.
