Von seinen vielen Rollen ist Keifer dafür bekannt, in 24, der TV-Serie, die Hauptrolle zu spielen. Keifer Sutherland erhielt auch großartige Kritiken für seine Rolle als der böse Robert Doob in Eye for an Eye.
