Thom Hoffman – 66 jaar- Acteur en Schrijver
Bij zijn introductie tot de wereld van de film hanteerde Thom Hoffman een pseudoniem in plaats van zijn eigen naam. In de vroege jaren ’80 maakte hij onder deze schuilnaam zijn eerste verschijning in de film ‘De Lemmings’. Desalniettemin duurde het nog twee jaar vooraleer zijn echte naam de eer kreeg om te schitteren in de aftiteling. Theo van Gogh, een legende in de filmindustrie, onderkende Hoffman’s talent, en dit luidde het begin in van een reeks indrukwekkende prestaties. Hoffman wist de harten van het publiek te winnen met zijn rollen in ‘Het gezin van Paemel’ en ‘Zwartboek’ en zette zijn succesreeks voort in de geliefde serie ‘Dokter Tinus’. Ondanks dat hij de pensioenleeftijd heeft bereikt, waarop velen zouden kiezen voor een welverdiende rust, kiest Hoffmann er voor om zijn filmcarrière verder uit te breiden met meer projecten.
