This Carolina Hurricanes player looks less like he’s in the middle of a game and more like he’s trying to escape an overly enthusiastic game of hide-and-seek. He’s wedged into a spot not designed for hockey gear, and we’re all waiting for the rest of this acrobatic performance. He gets bonus points for the leg-in-the-air move.
While the rest of the team is probably focused on the puck, this guy’s fighting a whole different battle—against the laws of gravity and spatial awareness. Whether this was an unlucky tumble or a creative new way to take a breather, it’s a moment no one was expecting to witness in the penalty box.
