This split-second moment captured something that looks more like a romantic comedy plot than an intense basketball game. During a Raptors vs. Lakers game, Antawn Jamison seems to have mistaken a bit of defensive pressure for an opportunity to express some very close-up admiration. Meanwhile, Alan Anderson is confused and probably wondering when basketball got so personal.
It’s the kind of perfectly awkward moment that’ll have fans screaming in shock. Between their suggestive poses and priceless expressions, this could easily be the start of a “most unexpected sports encounters” list. For now, though, it’s just another day in basketball history.
