Angela Bassett is considered to be an iconic figure in Hollywood. Her intense performances make her stand out from the rest. Angela’s husband, Courtney B. Vance is also an actor. However, Courtney has been more dedicated to Broadway endeavors rather than the big screen. Courtney and Angela have been married for over 20 years.
Despite popular belief, it wasn’t love at first sight… far from it. They met at Yale University and became friends. It wouldn’t be until more than a decade later that they took their relationship to the next level. They’ve even written a book about it titled Friends: A Love Story.
