Eddie Albert – $19.5 Million – Los Angeles
Das Haus, das dem verstorbenen “Green Acres”-Schauspieler gehörte, wurde von einem Technologieunternehmer für 19,5 Millionen Dollar verkauft. Albert lebte seit den 1950er Jahren in dem 33000 Quadratmeter großen Haus und lebte bis nach seinem Tod allein weiter. Das Gelände wurde kurzzeitig vom Landschaftsarchitekten Jay Griffith bewohnt, wo er Teile des Hauses gerade so renovierte, dass es wieder “aufwachte”. Albert war bekannt für seine jährlichen Weihnachtsfeiern in diesem Haus mit hochkarätigen Persönlichkeiten als Gästen. Albert, mit bürgerlichem Namen Edward Albert Heimberger, übte seine Gartenarbeit oft, indem er in seinem weitläufigen Garten sein eigenes Essen anbaute.
