Diego Maradona – 75 Pounds – Gastric Bypass Surgery
We all have an image in our minds of how soccer stars should look and unfortunately Diego Maradona doesn’t come close. The legendary star certainly let himself go – something that probably wasn’t helped at all by his drug addiction and alcohol dependency. In hopes of achieving weight loss, Maradona underwent two gastric bypass surgeries and managed to drop about 75 lbs. It all proved in vain when even that wasn’t enough to help him reach his desired target. In 2016, he tried a regenerative and metabolic medicine prescribed by a Dr. Ruben Muhlberger, a biomolecular German scientist, in his efforts to drop the weight.
