Jens Spahn ist schon seit über 20 Jahren Teil des deutschen Bundestags und übernahm auch Ämter wie das des Gesundheitsministers oder als parlamentarischer Staatssekretär. Doch auch privat läuft es bei dem CDU-Politiker rund und er ist schon seit vielen Jahren in einer Beziehung mit dem Journalisten Daniel Funke, den er 2017 schließlich heiratete. Die Hochzeit fand auf Schloss Borbeck in Essen statt. Daniel ist Leiter des Hauptstadtbüros einer großen Mediengesellschaft, der „Burda Magazine Holding“. Das Paar besitzt gemeinsam mehrere Immobilien, die einige Millionen wert sein sollen und so wurde der Politiker deshalb schon mehrfach in den Medien kritisiert.
