Actor Zach Braff, who became famous for his role as J.D on the hit TV series Scrubs, had a unique way of confronting his fear of flying. He ironically enough overcame his phobia by undertaking flying lessons and eventually becoming a pilot. He has been a certified pilot for many years now and has since acquired his own plane, a 4-seat composite Cirrus SR-20 monoplane, which he famously piloted from NYC to LA to appear in Ellen’s Show. We assume he has enough insurance coverage to accommodate his brave hobby.
