50 Cent – 54 Pounds – Drastic Calorie Reduction
The hip-hop rapper of the new millennium was cast (by himself) as a football player with a deadly disease in the 2011 film Things Fall Apart, and he ended up losing 54 pounds. Many people were concerned for his health, but it was just for the role and he buffed up back to his old physique afterward. Reportedly, 50 Cent had to rely on a liquid-based diet over nine weeks in order to shed all those pounds and look appropriate for the role. He actually said that “he was starving” and he still had to run an approximate three miles on the treadmill for three hours every day.
