Elton John’s history of clothing is rather interesting. According to his personal site, John used to wear outfits he bought from everyday retailers during the first few years of his professional career and on-stage performances. As his reputation and success rose though, Sir Elton had to start collaborating with fashion designers who would make his look even more unique. During his 1986 World Tour, Bob Mackie designed numerous outfits for John, like the one depicted, the “Angel” costume. Elton John announced that in September 2018, he would kick off his last ever tour, and we guess that we would see some more unique outfits during his farewell performances.
