Black is not your ideal red carpet color, but Dakota Johnson rocked that Gucci gown for a reason. The gown’s color was a homage to the #TimesUp movement against indecent assaults, after the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and Johnson’s statement was manifest. Johnson’s dress was stunning, and the embellished crystals on its tail were a detail that made it stand out in comparison to other black gowns that night. Johnson, who recently starred in 50 Shades of Grey: Freed, has worn Gucci gowns more than one time, showing that she has a knack for the famous brands’ clothing.
