Tom Hardy – Bane Costume – Price Unknown
The role of Bane was one of the first that Tom Hardy gained major attention for, and one of the reasons is the costume Hardy wore on The Dark Knight Rises. As a formidable villain convinced to bring the world to ashes, Bane has to look quite dreadful, and that’s what the costume’s designer Lindy Hemming aimed for. Hemming stated that she wanted to give the costume a more vintage image while staying loyal to the comic and that Bane’s mask had to make him look nightmarish. It certainly did, Lindy! In 2018, Tom Hardy portrayed another harrowing character, this time the one of Venom.
