190. Jean Stapleton – NATURAL CAUSES
Although Jean Stapleton was active for nearly 60 years, the role that marked her was that of Edith Bunker from All In The Family. It also helped her grab three Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards. She also appeared on the show’s spin-off Archie’s Bunker Place. She started her career on the theater and was in Broadway hits such as Funny Girl and Juno. She was described by friends and family as an angel and as a devout person who stayed away from drugs and alcohol. She died of natural causes in 2013 at the age of 90.
