Matthew McConaughey – Met A Producer At A Hotel Bar
Matthew McConaughey grew up in Texas and did not see himself getting his earnings from the Hollywood scene when he was still studying. In the early 1990s, he found himself doing some commercials but his biggest opportunity came when he met a producer in a hotel bar somewhere in Austin. That producer then got McConaughey to meet Richard Linklater who ended up casting him in the movie Dazed and Confused. McConaughey later became known for his roles on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Dallas Buyers Club, and True Detective. McConaughey has two upcoming films titled Serenity and The Beach Bum.
