Mel Gibson – Drove His Friend To An Audition
When Mel Gibson was about twelve years old, he was still living in Sydney. He went to the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and studied acting. His first acting role was in the movie Summer City and the salary he got for it was $400. His big break came when he starred in Mad Max and he actually didn’t really mean to audition for the movie. Reports say that he was just driving his friend to the casting when the director saw him and thought he was perfect for the movie. Today, Gibson is a highly established actor and director who has an upcoming movie titled, The Professor and the Madman.
