Jason Statham – Was Scouted In The Middle Of Training
Jason Statham is a very successful action star who takes credit for being able to do his own stunts in the movies he does. He pursued diving growing up and was once part of the National Swimming Squad of Britain. During one training session at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, he was scouted by the Sports Promotions agency. He eventually landed modeling jobs for big brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Levis. Statham then met filmmaker Guy Ritchie, who gave him a role on Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. His salary in his debut role was $6.94K, according to sources. In 2019, Statham will star in the film, Hobbs & Shaw.
