Marilyn Monroe was probably one of the most popular and most successful blonde bombshells in the history of Hollywood. In case you did not know, Monroe was born with brown hair despite being known for being a platinum blonde. Back in 1944, she was an employee of the Radioplane factory and that was where she met a photographer who later inspired her to pursue pin-up modeling. She eventually pursued a career as an actress and became known for her roles on How to Marry a Millionaire, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and The Seven Year Itch.
