The sad news of the demise of William Hurt in mid-March 2022 left his peers mourning his loss. He had an illustrious career in films lasting over five decades, but his journey began in the 1970s, performing in stage plays including ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ His film debut happened in 1980 in the movie ‘Altered States’ that fetched him the ‘New Star of the Year’ award.
While taking up challenging roles, William was someone who knew how to enjoy life with the millions he had earned. He had lived in a luxurious mansion built on 9,400 sq. ft with four bedrooms, a game-room, and a home theater; the movie star had spent $18 million to purchase it.
