Anke Engelke ist eine der beliebtesten Komikerinnen und Entertainer Deutschlands. Sie begann ihre Karriere 1978 und hat sicherlich ein beachtliches Vermögen angesammelt. Jedoch hat Reichtum ihren Lebensstil nicht wirklich beeinflusst. Obwohl Details über ihr Haus geheim bleiben, lebt Engelke nicht im Luxus. In einem Interview mit der Süddeutschen Zeitung betonte sie ihre Abneigung gegen ein glamouröses Leben.
Die Geburt ihrer Kinder verstärkte ihre Wertschätzung für ein normales Dasein. Engelke bevorzugt ein einfaches Leben in Köln, fernab von Prunk und Pracht. Sie besitzt zwar ein Elektroauto, nimmt aber meistens lieber die Straßenbahn. Sie ist und bleibt ein authentisches Beispiel für ein “Kölsches Mädsche”.
