The 1970s saw roller skating becoming a major trend among young people. It was liberating, glamorous, cool…it was just a groovy combination of fun and sports and music, and the roller discos were a massive hit all over the world!
This photo shows a young woman taking some kids around the rink, and no doubt teaching them a couple of tricks on how to look cool while on wheels. It’s clearly a beautiful summer day, and we’ve no doubt plenty of memories to look back on and smile about were being created at that precise moment!
