28. Coca-Cola Hits France
It was in 1950 that the Coca-Cola company decided to launch in France, believing that the country was finally ready for its fresh and world-dominating flavor. A marketing campaign (featuring the slogan ‘drink fresh!’) was launched, and it wasn’t long before it was a hit all across the country.
Coca Cola drove vans emblazoned with the slogan through the streets of France, and samples were given out to young and old alike. The process was known as the ‘cold revolution’, and this photo shows some old chaps enjoying the new flavor of the future!
