Una vez terminados los juegos olímpicos en los que rompió muchos records mundiales, “el pez humano” encontró una nueva vivienda en Scottsdale. La propiedad de más de 550 metros cuadrados, asentados encima de un acre de tierra, consta de 5 dormitorios (dos especialmente equipados para niños), 6 baños, una cocina gigantesca, un comedor y 4 chimeneas. En el exterior encontramos un jacuzzi, una ducha exterior, una piscina (era de esperarse) y una zona para preparar barbacoas. A finales de 2018 decidió vender esta casa y comprar una muy cercana que pertenecía a la familia de políticos McCain.
