Ein teurer Nachmittag
Während der Hund langsam aus dem Pool herausstieg und die Kinder betreten zur Seite gingen, sah Greg den Schaden: Kratzer zogen sich über die Poolfolie, und die Reparatur würde sicherlich teuer werden. Er fühlte sich regelrecht ausgenutzt – er und Jeanne luden gerne Nachbarn ein, aber solche Überraschungen gingen eindeutig zu weit.
Enttäuscht musste er erkennen, dass seine Großzügigkeit Grenzen hatte. Er wollte die Harmonie im Viertel nicht gefährden, aber es war klar, dass so etwas nicht wieder vorkommen durfte. Nach einem Gespräch mit Jeanne beschlossen sie, striktere Regeln einzuführen, damit solche Vorfälle ein für alle Mal der Vergangenheit angehörten.
