Jeremy Jackson – Battled With Substance Abuse For A Long Time
Jackson became famous for his role of Hobie Buchannon on Baywatch. Actually, Leonardo DiCaprio also auditioned for the same role but didn’t get it. For more than eight years and 160 Jackson appeared on Baywatch and he started working in front of the camera of the show at 11 years old.
During the show he started to consume illegal substances and became very addicted. The show ended in 1999 and while he thought that Hollywood is just waiting to offer him more jobs, he just ended up in rehab. It took him quite a long while to recover. His problems continued and so he tried to make money out of his misfortune by participating in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew overcome steroid addiction. At the same time a video of him and an adult video star leaked.
He still hopes to regain his footing in showbiz. Recently he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. Well, it didn’t help. In 2012 he married Loni Willison and they separated only two years later.
