Madeline Zima – Still Active On Tv & Big Screens

Madeline Zima landed her first job in a commercial at only two years old and only five years later was casted as Grace Sheffield on the beloved The Nanny next to Fran Drescher.

When the last episode the The Nanny was shot Madeline Zima struggled to land big roles until 2007 when she starred on the hit Showtime drama Californication as the16-year-old Mia Lewis.

It wasn’t long before Zima was casted as Gretchen on Heroes playing Claire’s quirky roommate. With her appearance on the show she was able to show off her diverse talents. This helped her to land her dozens of one-off roles in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Royal Pains and The Vampire Diaries. It’s still very hard for her to move beyond her fame as Grace Sheffield – but let’s put it like this: It’s hard to imagine her in any other role as the little Grace. By the way, she admitted that she actually didn’t enjoy being on the show: “It wasn’t a fun experience”.
