Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen – Owns A Fashion Empire Worth $300 Million
Mary and Ashley were born in 1986 as Olsen twins and are known as fashion designers and former child actresses. They are best known for their role as Michelle Tanner on the television series Full House from 1987-1995. They started to work on the set of Full House when they were only 9 months old and shared the role of Michelle Tanner because of the strict child labor laws. After the show ended they appeared in a bunch of children movies. They had their own fan club until 2000 where fans had to pay to receive monthly updates and collectibles about the twins. The twins were so famous that they were selling a lot of itmes on the preteen market in the late 1990s and early 200s – for example: clothes, shoes, purses, hats, books, CDs…
Mary-Kate Olsen suffered in the past from anorexia nervosa and entered treatment in 2004. She married Olivier Sarkozy in 2015. Ashley Olsen is dating George Condo who is 28 years older than her. It is rumored that he is still married because of some divorce fights.
Today they are both totally into designing clothing and have various fashion labels. Thanks to their retail empire they were able to accumulate more than US$ 300 million. Forbes ranked them as the eleventh richest women in the entertainment.
